My Favorite Lacto-Fermentation Tool: Pickling Mallet
This highly ergonomic pickling mallet is hand made by a carpenter in Massachusetts. He designed this mallet to press vegetables into jars without stressing delicate hand and wrist joints. It has become my favorite tool as it easily breaks up the cell walls of the vegetables while tucking them tightly into the jar.

Watch me use the mallet in this Fermented Rhubarb video.

Intestinal Recovery Recipe Book
Some people look to traditional foods as a way to improve the quality of their food. Others are suffering from stressed digestive and immune systems and need to eat potent food that doesn’t stress the body. Eating easily digested food helps utilize our energy for healing rather than for digesting.
One of the challenges of stressed health is cooking for oneself when we don’t have the energy to stand for long periods of time. The recipes in Intestinal Recovery are potent and gentle on the digestion and I have made them as easy to create as possible.
This 30 page book is a collection of 10 recipes that gently stimulate the detoxifying process while allowing sensitive digestive systems time to adjust without stress. They can all be easily made in your own kitchen and foster a gentle return to intestinal health.
The book includes the principles and practices of soaking food, traditional cooking techniques and fermented foods, all of which help repair the intestinal system thus boosting the immune system.

New!! Music CD!!
Music From The UnConscious
by Sharon A. KaneIf you enjoy the music on my videos you can now purchase a CD of my improvised piano music.
12 selections totaling nearly 80 minutes of music, some of it from an evening of solo improvisation at a restaurant and some done expressly for my videos.
The recording quality is not professional (I did it myself) and the restaurant piano was out of tune (too bad).
Given all that, the music is still uplifting and great fun…if I say so myself.
$12 includes shipping in the US.
